Hi all,

wrote a Windows CMD script that backups/clones partitions of an Android device via ADB because I wasn't content with any 3rd-party APK what claims to do this job.

The backups /clones are stored on Windows computer as TAR-file/.IMG-file.

This script was

• Created and tested on Genymotion with Samsung Galaxy S8 image ( Android 8.1 )
• Runs on Windows versions Windows XP professional, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 & Windows 10
• Should work with Mediatek, Unisoc (Spreadtrum), Qualcomm etc chipset-based Android phones

This script requires Android is rooted.

This software creates a backup/clone of all mounted   

Android device partitions and stores them on ADB

connected computer - preferred on its HDD disk. 

Applies to Android 4, Android 5, Android 6, Android 7,  

Android 8 & Android 9.

  

Pre-requisites:

1. USB-debugging must get enabled on the Android device

2. You must have a Windows computer with an HDD that has tons of GBs free to store the backups/clones. 

3. All apps on Windows computers should be closed. Click the [X] in the top-right corner of this window if you wish to exit. Otherwise press/tab any key to begin creating the backups/clones
