UMTv2 / UMTPro UltimateMTK2 v0.5 - Xiaomi New Patch Cert and more...

UMTv2 / UMTPro UltimateMTK2 v0.5 has been released, bringing a host of new features and improvements to the popular mobile repair tool. This latest version includes support for new Vivo models, Xiaomi New Patch Cert Function, and updated patch DM-Verity to support Xiaomi devices.

One of the key highlights of this update is the added support for new Vivo models, Y53s (PD2103F) and Y53s (PD2104F). This means that UMTv2 / UMTPro UltimateMTK2 users can now perform repairs on these models using the tool.

Additionally, the Xiaomi New Patch Cert Function has been added, which allows users to select the correct model from the list and perform repairs even if NVRAM/DATA is fully erased. If a boot loop issue occurs, users can simply wipe from recovery and repeat the operation.

In addition to the above, the Mi Account Relock Function has been fixed, which was broken in the previous version (0.4). Users can now use this function without any issues.

The Patch DM-Verity has been updated to support Xiaomi devices, and users can now use the Remove DM-Verity Patch Option if they need to revert back to the original condition.

Furthermore, the update has fixed the desktop icon being moved inside the folder. UMT users need to uninstall previous version before install this.

A few important notes to keep in mind while using UMTv2 / UMTPro UltimateMTK2 v0.5 are:

• You can flash the device with both BROM and Preloader mode.
• If the default DA does not work, use your own DA in custom DA.
• Force BROM may not work on new security, use Test Point instead.
• When using Test Point, users must select Preloader in PL (not needed when flashing).
• If users need to connect the device in Preloader mode, they must select PRELOADER in connection settings, otherwise, the software will try to crash Preloader (which may not work on new security devices).
