Microsoft Safety Scanner Free Download

Microsoft Safety Scanner Freeware Program

Microsoft Safety Scanner is intended to identify and eliminate malware from Windows systems. It is available for download in 32- and 64-bit versions, and to function, it needs SHA-2 support. The scanner needs to be downloaded again after every use because it is portable, does not show up in the Start menu, and expires 10 days after it is downloaded. The Microsoft Lifecycle Policy describes the range of Windows and Windows Server versions on which it is compatible. To get started, download and launch the executable, select the type of scan, and examine the outcomes. Use Microsoft Defender Antivirus or Microsoft Security Essentials for complete malware protection; for troubleshooting,  see the Safety Scanner support article.
