MTKClient is a tool for exploitation, reading/writing flash, and performing various operations on devices with MediaTek chipsets. It supports both Windows and Linux platforms.

Requirements

Windows

• Install the stock MTK port and the usbdk driver.
• For Windows, you need:
  • Python (>= 3.9)
  • Git
  • Winfsp (for fuse)
  • MTK Serial Port driver or default Windows COM Port driver
  • UsbDk installer (64-Bit)

Linux

• For Linux, a patched kernel is needed for using old kamakiri (except for read/write flash).
• Install:
  • Python (>= 3.8)
  • Git
  • libusb-1.0-0
  • python3-pip
  • libfuse2

How to use it?

Download and Extract MTKClient Source Code

• Download the MTKClient file source code zip.
• Extract the zip file on your desktop.

Install Python

• Download Python from the official website and complete the installation.

Open Command Prompt

• Click the Start button, search for "CMD", and run it as an administrator.
  
  
  

Navigate to MTKClient Directory

• Go to the desktop and copy the path of the MTKClient tool.
• In the command prompt, enter:

  cd [path to MTKClient directory] Ex: C:\Users\yoges\OneDrive\Desktop\mtkclient-2.0.1.freeze

• Replace [path to MTKClient directory] with the actual path.

Run MTKClient Tool

• In the command prompt, enter:

  mtk_gui.bat
  

• This will open the MTKClient tool.

Connect Your MTK Smartphone

• Connect your MediaTek smartphone to the computer and use the complete features of the tool.
