Step 1: Preparation


1.1 Write the Bootloader Image

  1. Run Qualcomm Module: Begin by launching the Qualcomm Module software.

  2. Brand Selection: In the brand option, select "Huawei and Honor Devices" and ensure e-Token authentication is active.

  3. Model Selection: In the Xboot section, select the model of your device.

  4. Type Option: Choose the "Encrypted!" type option.

  5. Select DT-File: Click on the "Select DT-File" option and load the Bootloaderimage file for your specific model.

  6. Device Connection: Connect your device in Qualcomm Mode [EDL].

  7. Write Bootloader Image: Press the Write button to write the loaded Bootloader image file to the device.

Step 2: Write IMEIs and Turn on Phone

  1. Enter Manufacturer Mode: On your phone, open the dial pad and type ##2846579##. Navigate to "Project Menu" > "Background Settings" > "USB Ports Settings" > "Manufacture Mode".
  2. Driver Installation: Connect your phone to the PC and install the necessary drivers. If you do not have a specific driver pack, install HiSuite and Honor Suite software.

  3. Check Connection: Ensure your device is connected in Manufacturer Mode and that the drivers are installed correctly.

  4. Qualcomm Module Setup: In the Qualcomm Module, select the DBAdapter Reserved Interface port.

  5. Special Task Selection: Press Special Task and choose the IMEI repair option.

  6. Input New IMEIs: Enter the new IMEI numbers when prompted and press OK.


  7. Completion: Wait for the operation to finish, confirming that the IMEIs have been successfully repaired.

Repair Network

Certain models require a network repair operation after IMEI repair due to device security or firmware version. The affected models include:

  • Huawei Nova 9 SE
  • Huawei Nova Y90
  • Huawei Nova 11i
  • Honor X7
  • Honor X8 (some firmware)
  • Honor 50 lite (some firmwares)

Network Repair Procedure

  1. Select Model: In the list option of the Qualcomm Module, select your device model for network repair.

  2. Repair Network: Press the Repair Network button.

  3. Operation Completion: Wait for the operation to finish and restart your device.
