- Ensure the program is compatible with your operating system.
Install and Run the Adjustment Program:
- Install the program on your computer.
- Connect your printer to the computer via USB.
- Open the Adjustment Program and select your printer model.
Reset the Waste Ink Pad Counter:
- In the program, navigate to the 'Maintenance' section.
- Select 'Waste Ink Pad Counter' and click 'OK'.
- Check the boxes for the counters you wish to reset (e.g., Main Pad Counter).
- Click 'Initialize' to reset the counters.
- After the process completes, restart your printer.
Replace the Waste Ink Pad (if necessary):
- If the waste ink pad is physically saturated, it should be replaced to prevent ink leakage.
- Replacing the waste ink pad can be complex and may void your warranty.
- Consider contacting Epson support or an authorized service center for assistance.
Reset the Maintenance Box Counter (if applicable):
- The Epson L11050 has a separate maintenance box with an IC chip that tracks ink usage.
- This chip can only be reset using a hardware chip resetter; software solutions are ineffective.
- Use a compatible chip resetter to reset the maintenance box counter.
