This post will show you through flashing the DUB-LX1 board software using the UMT (Ultimate Multi Tool) using QCFire Module.


⚠️ Disclaimer:

Flashing firmware can potentially brick your device if done incorrectly. Proceed with caution and make sure to follow the steps exactly as described. Backup your important data beforehand.

 

🔧 Requirements:

  • DUB-LX1 device (charged to at least 50%)
  • UMT Box or UMT Dongle
  • USB Cable
  • DUB-LX1 Board Firmware

  • UMT Software (Latest Version)

📥 Step 1: Download the Firmware

Click the link below to download the DUB-LX1 board firmware:

Extract the .zip or .rar file to a convenient folder on your PC.


🛠️ Step 2: Install and Open UMT Tool

  1. Install the UMT Tool if you haven’t already.
  2. Plug in your UMT Box or Dongle.
  3. Launch the UMT QcFire or relevant module based on your device chipset.


🔄 Step 3: Boot Your Device to EDL Mode

To enable flashing:

  • Power off the device.
  • Connect it in EDL (Emergency Download Mode) using key combo (usually Volume Up + Volume Down + USB).
  • Or, use a test point if needed (search your model’s test point online).


📲 Step 4: Flash the Firmware

  1. In UMT Tool, select your device model or choose Custom Loaders if needed.
  2. Load the firmware files from the extracted folder.
  3. Click Flash.
  4. Wait for the process to complete. It may take several minutes.


✅ Step 5: Reboot & Setup

Once the flashing is complete:

  • Disconnect your phone.
  • Reboot it.
  • Go through the initial setup screen.

Your DUB-LX1 is now restored with fresh software.


📌 Tips:

  • Ensure a stable USB connection during flashing.
  • If flashing fails, double-check drivers and try different USB ports.
  • Always use genuine UMT software and loader files.
